what goes in a first post: the year, the model, the trim, and whether it is all wheel drive or front drive. half the answers on this forum change depending on that last one, and the trim name does not settle it, so say it out loud. if you are asking about a noise, say the mileage too.
the rules fit in four lines. nobody advertises their own business here, and if a dealer, a shop or a tire store pays you, put that in the posts where it changes how your answer ought to be read. argue about brands all you like, but the Rogue owners and the Forester owners are stuck with each other on this forum, so keep it about the cars. something posted in the wrong place gets moved by me, with a marker left behind carrying the new address. an account means emailing me, which is temporary and lasts until the spam quiets down. i read every post.
